Global Youth Emerge is a non-profit, youth-focused organization founded in 2024 in Kenya. Our core mission is to empower young people between the ages of 15-34 through targeted support in financial access, education, mentorship, and skills training.
Recognizing the untapped potential of youth as key drivers of social and economic transformation, Global Youth Emerge was established as a charitable movement aimed at addressing the challenges that hinder youth from realizing their full potential.
The organization operates with the goal of scaling its impact across East Africa.
We implement programs that foster entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, and self-reliance, enabling young people to become active contributors to their communities and the broader economy. Inclusion to financial services is key to addressing some of the most pressing challenges faced by young people today, including unemployment and limited economic opportunity. Yet, millions of youths across Kenya and beyond remain excluded from formal financial systems. At Global Youth Emerge, we are committed to ensuring that all young people, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds, have access to the financial resources they need to build their futures, create sustainable livelihoods, and contribute to their communities’ development.
Drawing on years of experience and deep insights into empowering underserved populations, Global Youth Emerge began expanding its initiatives in Kenya in 2024. Our mission has been to provide a comprehensive range of financial services, scholarships, mentorship, and training to young people aged 15 to 34, particularly those from marginalized communities, by creating sustainable opportunities. We focus on youth, especially youth in rural and underserved areas, to foster self-employment, enhance financial resilience, and empower their entrepreneurial potential. Global Youth Emerge operates in several countries beyond Kenya, with each branch tailored to meet the unique needs of its local market, ensuring impactful and lasting change.
